Gold Medals
In 2011, Goose Watch won numerous gold medals at international wine competitions. And so far 2012 is starting off strong with claiming five gold medals at different competitions!The judges at the New York State Fair awarded us with three Best of Category distinctions in 2011-- Best Sparkling for the Pinot Noir Brut Rose, Best Rose for the 2009 Cabernet Franc Rose and Best Dessert Wine for the Classic Cream Sherry.
Goose Watch Winery is no stranger to the 'Best of' awards at 2012 competitions. The 2010 Traminette has already proven to be a valuable asset for Goose Watch Winery. This year alone it has been awarded the title Best Traminette at the Monterey Wine Competition (Mar/12), and two distinct double gold medals at the San Francisco Chronicle (Jan/12) and the Finger Lakes International (Mar/12). The sparkling wines of Goose Watch never seem to disappoint as it has already won Best of Class at the San Francisco Chronicle this year, where coincidentally the 2010 Diamond also won Best of Class.
